Laura has worked in the sewing industry as an instructor, fit technician, pattern maker, designer, and author for more than 40 years. She holds a BS in Apparel Design from the Oregon State University, specializing in historic design. Laura founded Sew Chic Patterns in 2007, producing sewing patterns and also working with Simplicity, Craftsy and Thread’s Magazine to promote sewing with customers and retailer throughout the world.
